The Dublin Lady Lions claimed a 43-29 victory Tuesday, Nov. 12 when they took on the Santo Wildcats at home.

“Watching them play together is exciting”, said head girls basketball coach Kim Perez. “I’m ready to see what is in store for us this season.”

Olivia Salyer led Dublin’s scoring with 11 followed by NavaLee White and Wendy Calderon who had 8 each. Adriana Stewart and Derby Kukla had 6 and Emma Vargas and Haden Keilers had two each.

The Lady Lions traveled to Bangs Saturday, Nov. 15 where they fell 31-28 in a tough battle.

Coach Perez said Dublin struggled to score at the beginning but had a better second half. The team is putting that game behind them as they get excited about the competition this week.

The Lady Lions will be playing in the Hamilton Tourney Thursday, Nov. 21 through Saturday, Nov. 23 but will return to the Neff Gym on Tuesday, Nov. 26 to face DeLeon.
