Dublin graduate Jaylee Black signs for Lamar Community College Antelopes in Colorado

Dublin graduate Jaylee Black was joined by parents Angela and Brent Black, head Dublin softball coach Vanessa Villegas and girls athletic director Kim Perez (as well as slew of family members) as she signed her intent to play softball for the Lamar Community College Antelopes in Colorado. The signing was held at Dublin Secondary Monday, Aug. 12. Villegas, who coached Black during her senior year said: “Jaylee was a leader for us. She was our one and only pitcher. Come game time, she went out and gave it her all for her whole team. No matter what the score was, she was doing whatever she could on that mound.” The coach said she is sure Jaylee will do the same for her teammates in Lamar.
