Registration is underway for the 15th annual Ben Hogan Legacy golf tournament on Friday, June 7, sponsored by the Ben Hogan Museum of Dublin.
The event, held at PAR Country Club at Lake Proctor, has two separate formats for the first time: best ball tees off at 8 a.m. followed by the scramble, teeing off at 1 p.m. Participants may enter either or both events. Lunch will be provided between the two events.
Entries are limited to 18 teams of four each in both formats, according to chairman Charlie Finegan.
Entry fee is $125 per person for one format or $200 per person for both formats. The entry fees includes green fees, cart and lunch, as well as a golfer gift.
“Both formats are filling up quickly,” according to Finegan, who encouraged golfers to make reservations right away. Checks payable to the Hogan Museum may be mailed to the Ben Hogan Museum, PO Box 104, Dublin TX 76446 or payment may be made by credit card on the museum’s webpage, BenHoganMuseum. org/ donations.
“This has always been a popular event and we expect it to fill up right away,” Finegan said. “The response to the double format has been very positive.”
Details of a casual party on Thursday night prior to the Friday tournament will be announced soon.
