The Dublin community is rallying around a local family who suffered tragedy in a Sept. 28 accident on Highway 377 near Bluff Dale.

Gala set to benefit ranch ministry

Morning Star Ranch is hosting its first annual Star Gala fundraising event on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at Celebration Event Center (9710 CR209 in Hico), with doors opening at 6 p.m. Individual tickets are available for $50 each with all proceeds from the event benefitting Morning Star’s ministries.

Sun sets on first Marching Classic

Though rain delayed the start from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Dublin ISD Band Director Ronny Luedke still reported that the first annual Harry Bradberry Marching Classic held Saturday on the Bob & Norma Cervetto Field was a big success.

Dublin Municipal Airport (located at 1200 S. Liberty St.) invites aviation fans and newcomers alike to the fourth annual Light Sport Fly-in, featuring flights and food from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
