Egg donations underway

Easter is right around the corner and donations are being sought for Dublin’s second annual Easter Eggstravaganza set for 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8 at the City Park. This year’s lead sponsor is the Stephenville Area Elks Lodge No.

Lenten Fish Fry held Fridays in Stephenville The Stephenville Knights of Columbus continue their Lenten Fish Fry, on Friday at Newman Hall. The weekly event will run from 5-7 p.m. Fridays thru March 31. The meal will consist of fish, coleslaw, hushpuppies, french fries, tea, and dessert.

March 6 A civil standby was completed to get reporting person’s property back. A reporting person’s mailbox in the 800 block of East Blackjack was ran over, along with their neighbor’s mailbox.

The Bosque River Chapter of Daughters of the Republic of Texas celebrated Texas History Month by meeting in DeLeon and sharing lunch at the Blue Moon 1881 Restaurant. After lunch members toured the Antique Car Museum then the DeLeon Area Historical Museum.
