Nonprofit to host events in October

Next week the chance to support a great cause is on tap for the Rylan Strong Network with two events – a golf tournament and Wheels of Hope, the third annual benefit car, bike and truck show.

A busy agenda kept Erath County Commissioners hard at work Monday, Sept. 23 as they moved through their regular agenda.As the Nov. 5 elections move closer, the commissioners approved bonds for Elections Administrator Lana Stevens and Assistant Elections Administrator Tara Arredondo.

National Night Out Tuesday

A chance for the community to meet and interact with their first responders is occurring this Tuesday, Oct. 1 when Dublin hosts its National Night Out celebration.The free event is open to the entire community and will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Voter registration deadline Oct. 7

Those who are wanting to register to vote for the presidential election along with state and local offices on the Nov. 5 ballot only have about a week to make sure they are registered.The last day to register to vote for this election is Monday, Oct. 7.
