Astronaut to speak at Tarleton

Former U.S. astronaut Charlie Duke will share stories of his experiences in space from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, March 3, in the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center.

DRHM Shamrock funderaiser deadline soon

The Dublin Rodeo Heritage Museum is once again hosting a shamrock decorating contest to raise money for its efforts of preserving Dublin’s rich rodeo history.Organizations and businesses can request a 4 foot large shamrock for a $100 donation or a 3 foot small shamrock for $75.

Alamo Letter dedication set next Thursday

The Erath County Commissioners Court is inviting everyone to come to the downtown Stephenville Courthouse for a dedication of a permanent plaque commemorating the most famous letter in Texas history – the Alamo letter.The dedication ceremony will be held at 10 a.m.

St. Pats on horizon

A lot of green is headed Dublin’s way as the annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities are on the horizon for March 13-15.This year the events organized by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce will include pageants, a 5K, a parade and a slew of activities at the City Park.
