The Lingleville Cardinals started off the second half of district 2-0 this past week beating Gorman 54-27 and Three Way 54-25.Against Gorman the Cardinals were led by Issac Martinez with 24, Garrett Hurt with 9 and Jaxson Rives with 8.

Dublin Secondary School’s gym was packed Saturday, Jan. 18 as the Lions hosted its invitational powerlifting meet to kick off the season.Topping Dublin’s results was Cassidy Adair, who took gold in the girls’ 198 with a total lift of 875 pounds (320 in squat, 235 in bench and 320 in dead lift.
