Double N Cowboy Church invites everyone to the 19th annual Buckles N’ Bibles Youth Rodeo on Sunday, Oct. 5.Those attending the fun family event will get to take in the rodeo fun in the arena and can also enjoy concessions and a cake walk.Sign-up will be at 12:30 p.m. with events starting at 2 p.m.

The Dublin Lady Lions battled hard through close sets as they faced Breckenridge and Eastland Sept. 23 and Sept. 26.The home team went 1-3 four sets against Breckenridge Sept. 23, but made the visitor battle whole way as Dublin put up 23, 23, 25 and 22 to the Lady Bucks’ 25, 25, 20 and 25.

The Lingleville Cardinals hosted Cranfills Gap Lions Friday, Sept. 26. Although the visitors claimed the win 64-14, The Cardinals displayed some bright spots and got some points on the board before the whistle blew.
