Fed. govt. shutdown continues

Into its first entire week of the federal government shutdown, millions of Americans are being affected by disrupting federal services and the halt of pay.The shutdown officially began Oct. 1 after Congress could not agree on a funding measure.

More than 25 volunteers were working together to help a Dublin resident replace a dilapidated fence in the 400 block of South Norton after the homeowner sought a grant from Revitalize Dublin, a local nonprofit.
