EECU grand opening Saturday

EECU, one of the largest credit unions in North Texas recently ranked by Forbes and Newsweek as one of the best in the state, is excited to announce the opening of its newest Financial Center in Stephenville, Texas.Its family-friendly grand opening celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Sales Tax up in November

Dublin sales tax collections were up again in January based on sales in November, with a 10.14% increase over last year.The city saw November sales at $56,534.66 compared to $51,327.31, according to the state sales tax report released by Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock.

Local filing ends with contest in DISD race

With local filing wrapping up, the city of Dublin will not have a local May election while the DISD school board will host an election.For DISD, Cole Leatherwood and incumbents Ryan Mitchell and Blanca Martineau have all filed. The top two vote-getters will be elected to office.
