EGGStravaganza Egg donations now underway

The Dublin Citizen and Dairy Queen along with CWJC are gathering donations for its annual EGGStravaganza event set for 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4.Donations needed include: fruit snacks, individual wrapped candy, empty eggs, filled eggs and finances.

Wind Ensemble Concert tonight

Dublin FFA hosts CDE event

Whether it was milk quality or entomology, hundreds of students from the area gathered at the Dublin Secondary Campus Friday, Feb. 27 to participate in the second annual Dublin FFA Career and Development Event.

Free Soccer Camp set for March 21

Dublin families are invited to come get their kicks at a free youth soccer camp for kids pre-K through 8th grade on Saturday, March 21 at the Dublin Memorial Stadium on Camden from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

When Dublin graduate Rudy Cox was a sophomore in high school, he got hurt playing football. “I went to an MD, and he sent me to an osteopathic clinic group in Fort Worth/Dallas,” he said.

Thursday Club studies High Plains Ecoregion

The Woman’s Thursday Club of Dublin met at Patrick Street church of Christ for its February meeting, hosted by Janet Pino. Club President Judith Lemons was under the weather, so Dana Herod graciously volunteered to chairthemeeting.
