Autumn is a good season to check bluebird nestboxes and prepare for next spring’s breeding season. Clean out last year’s nesting material. Rub soap on inside roof to discourage a wasp from building a nest there. Be sure entrance hole is still 1 ½ diameter. Perform needed maintenance.

30 years sentenced in murder plea

After more than two years since the murder of a Dublin woman, Jeffrey Kenneth Rogers, 62, signed a plea agreement for 30 years in prison. Rogers pled guilty to the First Degree Felony offense for the murder of Traci Leigh Jones and was sentenced to 30 years through the agreement on Nov.
