MTGCD board approves draw-down study

The Middle Trinity Groundwater Conservation District Board of Directors approved a draw-down study and ordered board elections in Erath and Comanche during their regular meeting on Thursday, Aug. 4.

Children’s educational program with UNT Aug. 18

The Dublin Public Library will be hosting a children’s educational program in conjunction with the University of North Texas Health and Science Center at Fort Worth. The program “Microbes that Call you Home” Thursday, Aug. 18 open to kids ages 5-11 years old.

Community Table in-person again

The Community Table at Dublin First United Methodist Church is now serving meals in the fellowship hall as well as performing deliveries. The meals are free to the community the last Wednesday of every month, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Voter Registration opportunity at Market Days

Register to vote—or update your voter name/ residence information. There will be a voter registration table set up at the Dublin Market, August 20, Wright Park, for Erath County residents. New voters can register at 17yrs, 10 mo. age. Don’t put it off, feel secure in your status this fall.

FBC Mobile food pantry

First Baptist Church of Dublin is hosting the Tarrant Area Food Bank Mobile Pantry every 1st Thursday of the month from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the church parking lot.

Rylan Strong Car Show Saturday, Aug. 27

The inaugural Rylan Strong Network Car and Bike Show will be held from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 at Celebration Park, 198 E. Elm St. in Dublin. There will be music, food and big engines, along with a tattoo raffle and apprentice competition.

This Saturday is the day for the Dublin Market at Wright Park, always colorful, full of variety, friendly people, and wholesome goods. We’ll have the best of summer produce, plus goodies from many kitchens. Come shop under the big shade trees and vendor canopies. Many vendors!
