Thursday Club begins 125th year

A special anniversary is approaching for the Dublin Woman’s Thursday Club as they begin their new year and enter 125 years as a service organization. Though its 125th birthday is not until November, the club kicked off its 125th year and the new year with a meeting Saturday, Sept.

Log Sept. 12 A person in the station reported a neighbor’s dog keeps coming on the property to kill his sheep. Call was referred to animal control/code enforcement. There was a verbal disturbance between a male and female in the 500 block of South Park.

Help! Medicare is not paying my medical claims!

Dear Toni, My husband recently retired from his job and because I am over 65, I needed to sign up for Medicare. I had to go to the local Social Security office with the Request for Employment Information form (CMS L-564) signed by my husband’s HR department to sign up for Medicare Part B.

Three Oaks hosts special week

YThree Oaks Assisted Living of Dublin celebrated Assisted Living Week in grand fashion with activities and adventures that celebrated residents, their families and the bonds they share. “COVID was awful emotionally,” said manager Jonna Alvarado.
