It has been said it takes a village and with the start of school quickly approaching the Dublin Public Library and its community partners have been hard at work preparing for the annual Back to School Fair.The event is set from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27 at the library, 206 West Blackjack.

Greens Creek Baptist Church is holding Vacation Bible School this week, offering kids the opportunity to know Jesus through the Breaker Rock Beach theme. A fun time with arts and crafts, music, games, Bible study and more was had by a multitude of children on its opening day, Monday, July 22.

Emergency services responded to a single vehicle car fire Monday, July 22 on Hwy. 377. No one was injured in the fire but the vehicle was a total loss.Dublin Volunteer Firefighters responded to a fully engulfed car fire on Hwy. 377.
