Editors Wyndi Veigel-Gaudette and Paul Gaudette were recently recognized by Dublin ISD as part of TASB’s Media Honor Roll List. Media Honor Roll was created to recognize individuals and media outlets for reporting fair, accurate, and balanced stories on Texas schools. School districts nominate their local media representatives for this award each year. Superintendent Melissa Summers recently presented the award to the journalists. Courtesy Ben Pate

I remember as a child we wondered what it would be like to be mailed. We wondered what size box we would need and if we would need to poke holes in it so we could breath. Certainly my parents would have probably loved to mail me somewhere for a few days.

As a kid, I hated the vegetable garden. If you stood on our back porch, it was to your left. It took up the entire corner of our large yard.To me, gardens were work and nothing more. From planting, to weeding, to harvesting, to canning, it was a waste of valuable play time.

Where does the time go?Wyndi and I often get asked how we do what we do, putting in so many hours from week to week and striving to cover as much as we can. I can honestly say the drive comes from example (and I know Wyndi can say the same).
