Lady Lions fight Eastland, Early

Dublin Lady Lions gave Eastland and Early a fight in road games last week.The Dublin volleyball girls scored 8, 24 and 10 in their Oct. 1 battle against Eastland.Ingrid Hernandez led in stats with 2 kills, an ace and 7 digs while Derby Kukla also contributed a kill, a block and two digs.

Lady Cardinals extend winning streak to 7

The Lingleville Lady Cardinals volleyball winning streak flew to seven Saturday, Oct. 5 as they set Moran in three. (Their opponents scored 4, 7 and 10 before Lingleville got to their 25s.)A school record was set in the game as Lingleville registered 30 aces.

Dublin Cross Country runners took home some medals Wednesday, Sept. 25 as schools traveled in for the Dublin Dash invitational meet.The high placements of several resulted in JV Boys taking 2nd place as a team, varsity boys taking 4th and the 8th grade girls taking 4th place.

Lions sharpen claws

The Dublin Lions are getting a bye week to finesse their game before district starts against Brady Oct. 11.The Dublin football boys will be taking some lessons and growth from the Sept. 27 game against the Lindsay Knights into this training.

The Dublin Lady Lions volleyball girls are looking for a W as they head to Early Friday, Oct. 4 and return home for the ‘Pink Out’ game against Tolar at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8. (All fans are invited to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
