CR 386 under repair in June

From Staff ReportsErath County crews are rebuilding CR386 (also known as Water Tower Road) from CR387 to CR461.The process started Monday, June 2 and is expected to take 5 to 6 weeks. The road will be closed to through traffic on some work days from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Dublin Lion power is on display as varsity football players are heading to state competition in the Lineman challenge. The event will be held at Hardin-Simmons University Saturday, June 21 at 9 a.m.

Proctor Lake Army Corps of Engineers Park Rangers and Bobber the Water Safety Dog visit Dublin Public Library Saturday, May 31 as part of the Summer Reading Program. Kids in attendance learned about ways to aid drowning victims while keeping themselves safe and information about life jackets. DHS graduates earn $700k in scholarships

Dublin High School seniors received more than $700,000 in scholarships this year and were presented the awards at the inaugural Dublin Scholarship Banquet Tuesday, May 20.

The Dublin Woman’s Thursday Club met at the Dublin Historical Museum for its May 2025 meeting. Our first order of business was to introduce our scholarship recipients.Typically we only award one scholarship. This year, we have sufficient funds to award an additional scholarship.

Stephenville City Council: Council reverses course, approves land use plan

After a failed attempt at a previous meeting to move forward with updating the city’s land use regulations, the Stephenville City Council took action Tuesday, May 20, unanimously authorizing City Manager Jason King to begin contract negotiations with Kendig Keast Collaborative.
