There are several tasks I have to do when Cindy, our business manager, takes a day off. Sure, there are things like collecting payments and making deposits, but the real important job is putting out bird seed and filling the fountain. Since the front of our office is 97.

Abbott Swears in Springer

On Wednesday, Jan. 6, Governor Greg Abbott swore-in Senator Drew Springer at the Governor's Mansion in Austin. Springer will serve as state senator on behalf of Senate District 30 following his win of the special run-off election last month. 

Weekly COVID Report - Jan. 8, 2021

Erath County officials reported 22 new cases of COVID-19 in the report from Thursday night (Jan. 7). Fourteen of these new positive cases were from within the city limits of Stephenville and eight were rural residents of the county.

Relief bill offers help to Tarleton students

 Included in the federal coronavirus relief package passed in December is more than $22 billion for higher education. For Tarleton State University, that means extra help for students financially impacted by COVID-19 and assistance with institutional expenses incurred because of the pandemic.
