Tarleton State University’s Southwest Regional Dairy Center has received an almost $300,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture.

Kingdom Movement and a host of generous sponsors hosted 200 people and gave away 100 free backpacks at a backto-school Cool in the Pool event at Dublin City Park Sunday. The event included free meals with burgers and hotdogs, free ice cream, bounce houses and free entry into the pool.

Comanche Chief The Police Department hosted a pancake breakfast on Friday August 6 at the Community Center. Breakfast included two pancakes, meat and a drink and cost $10. All proceeds went to support the Special Olympics of Texas.
