Sales tax significantly up for December

Dublin sales tax collections were significantly up in December, 35.77% compared to December 2023, according to the state sales tax report released by Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar.For the month of December, Dublin received $81,893.29, compared to $60,315.08 in December 2023.

A single vehicle car accident resulted in a downed power pole on Clinton Street Saturday, Feb. 15. The power pole required replacement affecting electricity in portions of Dublin for numerous hours. 2 arrested on child endangerment

Two individuals were arrested on child endangerment charges after a 3-year-old girl was involved in a neardrowning incident Sunday, Feb. 16. A police standoff at the Patrick Apartments in Stephenville happened as a result of the case.
