The Dublin varsity Lion basketball team ended the summer season with a roar as they took wins against Goldthwaite and Eastland.

Dublin defeated Goldthwaite 51-41. “Our defense was the star of the show with steals converting into transition lay ups,” said head Dublin High School boys basketball coach Wes Grisham. “Great offensive movement helped our guys get the looks we wanted and that separated us in the end.”
vs. Goldthwaite The Lions closed the summer games with a 60-40 triumph over Eastland. “Lions went on a hot streak just how we wanted to end the summer season,” said Grisham. “Our guys were hitting all cylinders and gave Eastland things to look out for on our next district season.”
The Dublin JV Black team also claimed a W when they faced Huckabay, ending the match-up 40-22 after breaking free from Huckabay defense in the second half.
Dublin JV Green got a victory of their own against Hamilton 44-37.
“Hamilton put up a good fight but couldn’t keep up with our confident crew,” said Grisham.
