The Dublin Lady Lions claimed bronze at the Hamilton basketball tournament last week after going 3-1.
Head girls basketball coach Waylon Salinas praised the growth his team is making game by game.
“Everyone is contributing as a team and are performing as a unit,” said Salinas. He added that Brittney Everett, Savannah Chacon, Derby Kukla, and Bayli Jackson are boasting strong numbers on rebounds while “Olivia Salyer, Ismari Molina, Regan Vanbebber, and Adriana Stewart are an aggressive front that helps cause turnovers and pressure offenses.”
He added that they are working to earn wins as teams and not individuals, reiterating “one unit, one heartbeat, one team.”
