Tyler James Womack, 33, passed from this life Thursday, August 12, 2021. He was born August 24, 1987, in De Leon, Texas to Larry Don and Lori (Files) Womack.

Tyler was raised in De Leon and graduated from De Leon High School Class of 2006. He then attended and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Ag Economics. Returning to De Leon after college, Tyler has been employed for over seven years with Salem Abraham Pecan Company as the orchard manager of eight hundred acres which recently traded hands and is now the Randy Stephens Pecan Orchard. Tyler loved his career raising pecans and caring for the land. He especially loved the opportunity it provided him to be outdoors daily. Growing up in De Leon, Tyler attended De Leon Church of Christ (Hwy 6).

On Tyler’s 29th birthday in 2016, he met his loving Fiancé, Sara Gann. Tyler and Sara were to be married on September 5, 2021. Tyler lived a full and outgoing life.

He enjoyed hunting, collecting guns, cooking, and travelling. He was never one to sit still and preferred having a full schedule that kept him busy. Tyler loved dogs and had a special place in his heart for stray dogs. He also had a deep circle of friends that he loved as brothers. He was a special fiancé, son, brother, grandson, and uncle. He was loyal, courteous and kind to others, and a good man. While his time in this life was too brief, he leaves behind many loving memories and a special legacy to be remembered and cherished by all who loved him.

Tyler is survived by his fiancé, Sara Gann; parents, Larry Don and Lori Womack; sister, Latonya Rosborough and husband, Ryan; nephew, Rhett Rosborough; niece, Tenley Rosborough; grandparents, Larry Jim Womack, Nathan and Sandy Files, George and Linda Simmons; and other extended family.
