STRATTON

Ronald L. Stratton went to be with his Lord Sept. 4, 2020 from unexpected acute lymphoblastic leukemia at the age of 69 years, 10 months and 4 days. Ron graduated from Dublin High School.

He joined the Army and attended helicopter school in Mineral Wells. Afterward, he served in Vietnam. After his tour, he lived in Washington and California before coming home to Texas. On retirement, he worked at David’s Grocery in Glen Rose where he resided.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E.C. Stratton and Velma (Calder) Stratton. He was truly loved and will be sorely missed by his brother, Melvin Burl Stratton of Arkansas, his sister, Beulah (Stratton) Holt of Dublin; brother, Edward C. Stratton of Harper; nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.

Burial will be at Fort Worth/Dallas National Cemetery Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020 at 2:30 p.m.
