Antoinett Mathis

Antoinett Cheri Mathis, 61, was born on Nov. 24, 1962 in Washington, D.C to her parents Cornelius Hood and the late Luvenia P. Hood.

She transitioned to her heavenly home Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024. Antoinett Mathis was preceded in death by her mother Luvenia P. Hood and sister Mary Finley.

She received her education in District of Columbia at HD Woodson.

Those left to rejoice in her memories are her daughters: Raquel Queen-Davis (Al Davis) and Reva Murray (Kelvin Murray Jr). Grandchildren: Destiny Johnson, Grayson Davis, Justice Davis, Kelvin Murray III, Kheyon Murray, Khady Murray, Khameron Murray. Siblings: Renee Hood, Cornelius Hood III (Sonja Hood) and Lennette McLean (Christopher McLean).

Nieces and nephews: Rudy Wilson, Ronnell Wilson, DeNina Willard, Joshua Hood, Josiah Hood, Mara Hood and Moriah Hood.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday, Jan.12, 2024, at Harrell Funeral Home from11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, at Round Grove Cemetery in Dublin, Texas.
