Ronnie Eugene Brawley, born February 11, 1947 in Comanche, TX, who resided in Tolar, TX and also had a place in Edna Hill, TX went on to be with Jesus his Lord on Dec. 5, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.

Ronnie played 6-man football and graduated high school from Gustine, TX in 1966 where he also met his future wife of 55 years, Oma Lee Pettijohn. Ronnie farmed in his early life and then retired after 30 years as a UPS driver. He and Oma Lee have seven children.

He was a committed follower of Christ Jesus, and his hope would be that others would receive God’s grace and one day join him in heaven. Ronnie was proceeded in death by his parents Floyd and Fredonia Brawley, his sister Ruby Pearl Brawley, his brother Dale Brawley, his grandsons Michael Samuel Brawley and Brendon Marc Brawley.

He is survived by his wife Oma Lee Brawley of Tolar, his daughters Connie Lee Brawley of Florida and Bonnie Bee Brawley of Tolar, his sons and daughters-in-law Lonnie Eugene & Dana Brawley of Virginia, Donnie Elgene Brawley of Florida, Jonnie Gene & Juanita Brawley of Tolar, Monnie Eulgene Brawley of Ohio and Ronnie Eugene II & Veronica Brawley of Tolar, his grandchildren Jarred, Jonathan, Sarah, Shannon, Sydni, Daniel, David, Spenser, Abigail, J’Lee, Austin, Luke, Landon, Logan, and Landry, his greatgrandchildren Audrey and Juniper, His brothers and sisters-in-law Terry and Pam Brawley of Granbury and David and Debbie Brawley of Comanche, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and other relatives who will miss him dearly.

Service will be Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Harrell Memorial Chapel at 11 a.m.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Harrell Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m.

Interment will be at Barbee Cemetery near Edna Hill following the service.

If anyone would like to give something in memory of Ronnie, instead of flowers, monetary gifts toward missions work or the Gideons for Bible distribution can be given to Tolar Baptist, Edna Hill Baptist, Paluxy Baptist, or your local church.
