Velisa Gay Hill Anderson born Dec. 4, 1966 to parents James and Shirley (Miller) Hill in Farmers Branch, Texas, passed from this life Oct. 7, 2020.

Velisa was married to Jimmy Doyle Anderson on October 10, 1987, in Brownwood, Texas, they had two children. Velisa enjoyed crocheting and loving on her children and grandchildren.

Velisa is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jimmy Doyle Anderson, niece Candice Rochelle Ramsey, and nephew Jereame Scott Ramsey.

Surviving Velisa are son, Marcus Andrew Anderson and wife Michelle of Dublin, daughter Amanda Ashton Anderson of Trinidad, Texas, sisters Valorie Brown and husband Ron of Hico, Texas and Tammy Montomer of Irving, Texas.

She was a proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren: Summer, Easton, Natalia, Marcus, Jonathan, Karolina, Zack, Andrew, Jimmy and Hercules.

Graveside services were 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020 at Black Family Cemetery, Hico, Texas with Rev. Greg Weatherly officiating.
