The Dublin Lady Lions fought in their first district home game and claimed the first district W in play last week.
The ladies lost the Sept. 13 home game against Brock in three sets but showed collective strength.
“The girls did play hard and were neck and neck with them on several points throughout all three sets,” said head volleyball coach Arin Knight.
The Dublin ladies sought and claimed redemption at Early on Saturday, beating the home team in three sets..
“These girls came back in the 3rd set from being down 15-21 and got their mental toughness together and ended up winning 27-25,” bragged Knight. “I had never seen those girls fight so hard until that set. They wanted to win so badly and they got it!! I was very very proud of them.”
In Saturday’s game:

■ Libertie Turner had 9 digs
■ Paige Wilson had 7 digs
■ Jaclyn GIbson has 4 kills and 3 blocks
■ Chloey Rollins had one kill
■ Bailey Watson a had 3 kills and 2 blocks
■ Madison Turley had 2 kills
