Body

BROWNWOOD

SLOW. Water stained; 71-75 degrees; 3.12 feet low. Bass are good to 8.05 pounds on jigs, crankbaits and swimbaits along the rocky banks and docks in 3-10 feet of water. Some bass are still spawning, most are post spawn and a few are in a summer pattern. Crappie are good to 1.82 pounds on minnows and shad color jigs from 3-15 feet of water on the banks and around lighted docks. Most females caught still have eggs. White bass are good to 2 pounds on assorted moving baits under the lights. Catfish are slow on cut bait and liver.

GRANBURY

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 76 degrees; 0.26 feet low. Bass are good with a quick early morning bite before transitioning to deeper water as the day heats up. Whitebass fishing has improved on the main lake as the fish are returning to their post spawn locations. White bass are good on slabs fished near humps and flats from the Shores to Decordova. Striped bass action is slow to fair on live shad fished on the lower ends. Blue and yellow catfish continue to be good on cut shad on many areas of the lake. Crappie catches continue to be good to excellent on small minnows fished under docks over deeper water. POSSUM KINGDOM

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 77-81 degrees; 1.87 feet low. Striper fishing has been great using live shad and jigs in white and chartreuse. Sand bass are good using chartreuse slabs fished on sand points and some surface activity. Catfish are good on cut shad fished on bottom in 15-30 feet of water. PROCTOR

GOOD. Water stained; 78 degrees; 2.86 feet low. White bass are good on bomber slabs. Striped bass are slow. Catfish are good in shallow water using punch bait. Crappie are good on brush piles. Black bass are slow.

WEATHERFORD

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 75 degrees; 4.32 feet low. White bass are good using slabs and silver jigging spoons on main lake humps and under the birds. Bass are good with some topwater action early morning, switching to crankbaits along the grass. Crappie are good on main lake brush piles with minnows and jigs. Catfish are good shallow using cut and prepared bait.
