Five Lady Lions were escorted onto the home diamond for the final time as the team hosted senior night Tuesday, April 7.
Seniors honored included Cassidy Adair, Yasmin Esparza, Kaylee Hayes, Olivia Salyer and Nomi Thompson. The Lady Lions put up 11 to Comanche’s 21 that night.
They followed this with a much closer 13-12 loss at Breckenridge Friday, April 10. Adair and Salyer led with 4 hits each. Adair sored a home run, three runs batted in, a stolen base and two runs while Salyer hit two doubles, stole 2 bases and completed 4 runs.
Kinley Pursely scored three hits, an RBI, a triple and one run. Adriana Stewart also earned three hits, 2 RBIs, a stolen base and three runs.
Regan Vanbebber scored two hits and a run. Izzy Cervantes scored two hits, two RBIs and a double.
Tylor Nail scored a hit and Esparza complete a run.
