Daily COVID report - Oct. 2, 2020

Erath County officials reported six new cases of COVID-19 in the report from Thursday night (Oct. 1). Two of these new positive cases were from within the city limits of Stephenville and four were rural residents of the county.

Ranger postpones Day of Champions

Ranger College President Dr. William J. Campion was forced to do something he didn’t want to do earlier this week. He pushed the pause button on the popular Day of Champions event that is held each year to help improve the City of Ranger.

Electronics recycling event set

A free electronic recycling event is open to Erath County residents with drop-off locations scheduled for Dublin and Stephenville. Dublin residents will be able to drop off old and outdated electronics locally in the Dublin Annex parking lot (219 S. Grafton) on Friday, Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
