The Dublin Public Library continues with curb service and a new combination locker has been installed for pick-up of books and movies 24/7. Our staff remains diligent in finding ways to serve the community’s needs. One of the best historians of 20th century ranching is Elmer Kelton.

Tuesday is election day

Tuesday is officially election day in the special election for Texas Senate District 30. Early voting is being held at the Erath County Courthouse from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow. Polling locations will be open on election day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

2020 royalty crowned

The 2020 Dublin High School Homecoming King and Queen were officially crowned during Friday morning’s pep rally and Friday night’s homecoming game respectively. Manuel Garcia was named the 2020 King while Bryten Ballenger was named the 2020 Queen.

Dondee Soto didn’t know what she wanted to do with her life when she was in high school. “ I was at a crossroads and still trying to figure out who I was and what I wanted to be,” she said.
