At 6:28 p.m. a small shed or unfinished play house was seen on fire on CR 283 before the owner put it out with a hose.

At 1:45 p.m. a vehicle ran over a mailbox and then went through a fence on CR 386 but left behind their license plate.

Erath County and other counties in Trauma Service Area E remain under the stricter guidelines as of Tuesday, due to the hospitalization remaining above 15%.
Due to current dry conditions and following several fires in recent weeks, the Erath County Commissioners’ Court voted to extend the burn ban on Monday until conditions get better and and order is approved lifting it.
