Patrick closed today for roadwork

TxDOT announced that the portion of Patrick Street (Business 377) will be closed from Blackjack Street (Highway 6) to Elm Street between 5 p.m. and 5 a.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 16) for roadwork. Southbound traffic will be detoured on SH 6 to US 377.

Dublin City Council approved changes to the city’s fee schedule during Monday night’s regular meeting when city staff pointed out some inconsistencies that needed to be addressed.

Burn Ban in effect

Erath County Judge Alfonso Campos and County Commissioners issued a burn ban on Monday due to current dry conditions. Violation of the ordinance restricting outdoor burning is a Class C Misdemeanor, punishable by a fee of up to $500.
