Early voting begins Monday, May 20 for Republican Primary runoffs in Erath County with election day set for Tuesday, May 28.Voting is only open to those who voted on the Republican Ballot during the March 5 Primary.

Graduation is right around the corner and Dublin’s top two grads have been named.Mariana Ortiz was named as the Dublin High School Class of 2024 Valedictorian and Karina Ortega as the class Salutatorian.Ortiz is the daughter of Antonio Ortiz.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Parties did get physical but neither party wanted to press charges. They separated for the evening.A reporting person stated that there was a suspicious vehicle that followed her for about a week with no identifiers.

We had an interesting visitor in the museum a few weeks ago. He had grown up in Iowa and knew about the Piano-ette sometimes called the Piano-lin. We have this same type of instrument in the front of the museum hanging on the wall with a violin.The instrument we have is called a Violin Uke.

The Dublin City Pool will officially open Saturday, May 25.Pool hours are Tuesday noon to 8 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday noon to 5 p.m. and the pool is closed on Monday.Cash only entrance fees are $3 for swimmers 3 and over and free for nonswimmers and 2 and under kids.
