Plant sales on tap this weekend in Stephenville

Plant lovers will have lots of opportunities this weekend to purchase plants with two plant fairs in Stephenville.The Erath County Master Gardeners sale will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research Center in Stephenville.

The Dublin Chamber of Commerce and The Dublin Citizen partnered together for a City Council Candidate Forum Thursday, April 17 at The Station. Citizens were able to ask questions of the candidates through moderators from The Dublin Citizen editors Paul and Wyndi Veigel-Gaudette.

A confirmed EF-1 tornado touched down in Erath County Saturday, April 19 in the south east part of the county.A home was completely destroyed near FM 1824 south of Johnsville and fortunately the owners were not at home when the tornado occurred. Two families that attend Three Way ISD were impacted.

Dubliner Dalton Kasel continues to rack up the Professional Bull Rider wins as he claimed fi rst in Nampa, Idaho April 18 with an 88.5 point ride which was named the Michelob ULTRA Superior Ride of the Weekend. His team, The Austin Gamblers, also claimed second in the event.
