Youngsters belonging to a mini drill team camp performed with the Dandi-Lions Friday, Oct. 20 at half time and spent time with them at the football game.

The 3rd/4th grade Dublin Lions flag football team are heading to the Super Bowl at Dublin’s Cervetto Field after an undefeated season. The team, led by Tyler Stone and Ty Weaver, will hit the field at 10:30 a.m. with everybody invited to help the little cheerleaders root on the home team at the big game.. The Dublin Lions 3rd and 4th Grade flag football boys will hit Cervetto Field at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 following an undefeated season as they play in the youth football Super Bowl. “The boys have worked so hard all season long,” said coach Tyler Stone.

The Sound of Dublin band is heading to Area for the third straight year after earning first division ratings (the highest possible) from every judge at the Oct. 14 Regional competition in Mineral Wells.

Dublin ISD is sending a cross country runner to Regionals and claimed a championship on the Jr. High level and the 8th grade boys took first place as a team at the district meet on Oct. 11 at Dublin Secondary.

Dublin Lady Lions fans were witness to a fierce battle as the team traveled to Early on Oct. 11 to take on the Lady Longhorns. Early claimed the W but not until the teams went four sets deep. Dublin scored 12 and 23 in the first two sets while Early score its 25s.
