The dairy story needs to be told again and again. Every month I have several discussions revolving around dairy facts and knowledge. I explain that whole milk is 97% fat free and tastes much better than 2% and 1% varieties.

I don’t often watch TikTok videos, but, when I do, they involve giant jars of mayonnaise. In a bold bid to crown “moist” the 2023 Merriam-Webster Word of the Year, the Kraft company made a grand gesture by delivering an 8-foot-tall jar of mayonnaise to the eponymous dictionary’s headquarters.

Nov. 16, 1923 With a few exceptions all of the schools of the county have opened and are now moving along nicely. It will be of interest to trustees and patrons of the various schools to know that practically all of the schools closed the 1922-23 term with a small balance to their credit.

Why grateful is spelled that way

As we turn our calendars to November, I always wonder why there isn’t any good Thanksgiving music out there. Halloween has a handful of hits. Obviously, Christmas and Hanukkah have their own genre of “holiday”music. Why doesn’t Thanksgiving get any good songs? These songs would be great.

Where are they now? Kirby Williams

Kirby Williams acquired his career skill set before he even graduated from high school. Since he was young, he’d help his father fix the family car. “We didn’t believe in taking it to a mechanic,” he said. In eighth grade he started working on a dairy, learning the ropes of farm work.
