A hopper car loaded with 60 tons of cement left the tracks and plunged into the historic Dublin Santa Fe Train Station Dec. 3, 1972. When the car was pulled out of the wreckage, the Spanish tile roof collapsed. The station was located west of the Santa Fe tracks and south of Highway 6. Ermon E. Hatley, station agent in Dublin
