The Erath County Grand Jury returned 12 indictments on May 13.

May 14 At 2:32 p.m. a multiple vehicle accident occurred on Hwy 377 South with several people injured and one rushed to the ER. May 15 At 9:28 p.m. a vehicle was totalled after hitting a cow on FM 3025, no injuries. May 16 At 2:35 a.m.

POLICE LOG

May 10 A report was made for an individual who came into the coffee shop twice and seemed out of it on Blackjack. Reporting person was in the station to request more patrol by Big’s Gas station because kids cross the highway to get home from school.

Memorial Day service Monday

Monday marks the return of Memorial Day, a day of remembrance for those who lost their lives while serving in the Armed Forces. In honor of the event, The Powell-Davidson American Legion Post #219 is hosting a service at the Veterans Memorial next to Dublin Public Library at 8 a.m. on Monday.

LISD names top graduates

Lingleville High School has named the top two graduates of the Class of 2021 in advance of the graduation ceremony Friday at 7 p.m. in the big school gym. Jordyn Hicks, the daughter of Michael and Sharay Hicks, was named the valedictorian.

Webinar to address brush, weed threats
