Dublin OAP stages Book of Everything

The Dublin High School One Act Play cast and crew performed “The Book of Everything” to a full house on Feb. 22 at the old Dublin Jr. High Auditorium on Camden. The performance helped prepare the team for competition in Bangs on Tuesday.

Lions Club hosting raffle for band

Public works respond to main break

Dublin Public Works crews toil above and in the ground Monday evening after a contractor struck a water main on N. Patrick by Valley and causing a break. Workers used equipment to dig out the area and repair the issue to prevent customers from losing water service.

Million Word Club

DISD OKs contracts, sub raises

The Dublin ISD School Board approved contracts, increasing pays for substitute teachers and the purchase of equipment during its regular meeting which was rescheduled to Feb. 22 due to the Presidents’ Day holiday.

Thousands speak in primaries

Erath County residents and voters across the state were casting their ballots in the Democratic and Republican primary elections on Tuesday. As of 3 p.m. Tuesday, a total of 2,111 Erath voters had voiced their opinions on election day and 2,713 had cast their ballots in early voting.

Texas Health Resources is hosting a Covid-19 Pfizer Vaccine Clinic today (March 3) from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in conjunction with the Tarrant Area Food Bank Mobile Pantry (5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Dangerous road conditions provided an opportunity for some of Dublin’s finest to help out hungry neighbors as Police and EMS staff assisted Meals on Wheels with deliveries on Feb. 23. Weather forecasts predicted freezing rain as temperatures fell as low as 18 and 19 on Feb. 23 and Thursday.
