MUSEUM MATTERS

Steam engines were the main locomotive power used when railroads were first becoming important in the 1800s. Steam continued to be used through World War II. But after the war, diesels power began to be used more often by the major railroads.

EDC OKs three grants

The Dublin Economic Development board met in regular session on January 25th, 2022. One commercial grant and two home improvement grants were unanimously approved by the Board. The Ben Hogan museum received a Commercial Improvement Grant of $4,121.
