Harbin Community began as a dream in an area bordered by an old abandoned Indian village. Jonathan Harbin had moved from South Carolina and ended up in Texas. In 1878 he moved to Erath County and bought land northeast of Dublin. The first school was a log cabin with Harbin as its first teacher.

Public invited to OAP performance

The High School UIL One Act Play cast and crew will hold a free public performance on Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. in the Old Jr. High Auditorium on Camden. The play is titled THE BOOK OF EVERYTHING from the novel by Guus Kuijer and adapted by Richard Tulloch.
