Vs. Early The Lions faced Early in an April 4 away game which Early claimed 5-4. Jose Lopez pitched 5.2 stong innings for Dublin, giving up two earned runs. Chris Teten emerged from the injury list for his first game of the season.

BROWNWOOD SLOW. Water stained; 58-62 degrees; 8.67 feet below pool. Black bass to 10 pounds are excellent on jigs and crankbaits in 2-8 feet of water around spawning areas with a few on beds. Crappie are excellent and spawning near the mouth of the creeks in 2-5 feet of water.

Lingleville 8th graders Lane Walker and Alexa Aviles both qualified for the Junior High Rodeo Association State Finals after taking top honors at the Region X rodeos. Walker finished as the Region X reserve Champion In tie-down roping and qualified with his partner in ribbon roping as well. Aviles finished as the Region X pole bending Champion.
