Lady Lions earn honors

Several Dublin Lady Lion basketball players earned post-season honors as all-district selections were announced this week.

DHS names Dandi-Lions

The Dublin Dandi-Lion Drill team for2024-25 was named Saturday, Feb. 24 following tryouts.Serving as Captain will be Kimberly Rojas while lieutenants will be Kassandra Rodriguez, Brecedes Rojas and Makayla Facio.

Lions claim first season W

Dublin Lions had given up two games in the Brown County Tournament when they took the Early High School diamond Friday, Feb. 23 to face the Goldthwaite Eagles.When time was called, the Lions had claimed the first victory under Coach Corde Morris 10-2.

Tarleton Texan basketball player Devon Barnes earned his first weekly award from the conference after being named the WAC Newcomer of the Week for the past week, the league announced on Monday.

DHS golf starts season

Dublin High School golf started out its season with some new faces as they teed off at Coleman Feb. 22-23.Newcomer Hayden Millburn came in the lowest for Dublin with 109 strokes followed by Bailey Watson and Dane Lewis with 111 and 112 respectively. Fellow newcomer Jace Mendez logged 131.

Boot Trot 5K set for FW

Ahead of the 2024 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Finals: Unleash The Beast, the PBR and Ariat today announced that they will again unite to host a unique 5K/3K fun run during bull riding’s most prestigious event on Saturday, May 11.

Lady Lions battle Hico

The Dublin Lady Lions were first to score in their away game against the Hico Lady Tigers Friday, Feb. 23.Jaylee Black put the first run of the game on the board but Hico took the lead shortly after when they secured seven runs in the second inning.
