MORENOA memorial service to honor the life of Patti Moreno will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024, at the Erath County Cowboy Church with Werth Mayes officiating. Patti went to sing with Jesus from her home in Bangs, Texas, surrounded by family on Thursday, July 18, 2024.

KILCREASEDouglas Wayne Kilcrease, dedicated family man, was called home to be with his lord and savior Friday, Aug. 2, 2024, at the young age of 62.Douglas was born to the late Alec Kilcrease and Marilyn Hester in Seminole, Texas June 10, 1962.

LITTLEFIELD

LITTLEFIELDMark Layne Littlefield, 57, of Dublin, died July 27, 2024, in Fort Worth after a fall. Three people have been given better lives by his donation of organs through Life Gift and he passed while the song, “The Cowboy Rides Away” by George Strait was playing in the operating room.

On July 22, 2024 at 2:20 PM, The Lord called Vestal Lee Richey Home to Heaven.Vestal Lee Richey was born on April 20, 1933 to Nim Rod and Hattie Baugh Bolton Richey in Dublin, Texas. Vestal was one of eleven children, 3 full brothers and 7 half brothers and sisters.

Glenda Sorrells

Glenda Jean Sorrells, 75, of Dublin, Texas, peacefully passed away at home on July 14, 2024.Glenda was born on October 4, 1948, to Dorothy Langston Wilwant in Knox City, Texas. She married Charles Wayne Sorrells on March 21st, 1967, and had three sons together.

Bobby McClatchy

McCLATCHYBobby Raymond Mc-Clatchy, 74, went to be with the Lord on May 28, 2024, in Burleson, Texas. He was born Oct. 22, 1949, in Stephenville, Texas to Robert Raymond (Bob) Mc-Clatchy and Pauline Brown McClatchy.Bobby went to Carlton High School, moved to Dublin and worked with his dad on a dairy.

Michael Parks

PARKSMichael Shane Parks, 46, passed away too soon, on July 9, 2024. He was born on May 21, 1978, to Robbie Dale and Cassandra (Stalecup) Parks, in Hale Center, Texas. He was raised in Lingleville, Texas, where he graduated from high school. Upon graduating, Michael went on to further his education.

HIETTLaverne (Ware) Hiett, 92, left this earth July 3, 2024 in Borger, Texas. She was born Jan. 7, 1932 in Littlefield, Texas, to Emett and Annie Ware.Laverne graduated from Wellington High School in 1950. She was a dedicated homemaker, bookkeeper and floral assistant.
