The time of generosity and blessings that abound is upon us, and for Erath County citizens who may need a meal or just a chance to share camaraderie with one another the choices are widespread.
This Thursday, Nov. 21, there will be a Lingleville Community Thanksgiving Dinner and Lingleville Quest project showcase at 6 p.m. at the Lingleville ISD Cafeteria.
Turkey, ham and dressing will be provided by the community. Please bring a large side item and or dessert for your family, plus one.
This is a great opportunity to share a meal with others, support the QUEST students and those students who help decorate for the event, organizers said.

Over the weekend, the Stephenville Area Elks Lodge No. 2834 will be offering a Thanksgiving Dinner from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23.
It will be a full Thanksgiving Meal with turkey and ham. Plate prices are $15 for adults and $10 for kids.
The lodge is located at 1560 West Hyman Street in Stephenville.
Calvary Fellowship will again be delivering Thanksgiving meals.
Meals will be delivered starting at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28 and will be a full Thanksgiving meal with turkey, ham, dressing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, rolls, cranberry and pies.
Anyone wanting a Thanksgiving meal can call or text Pastor Anthony 714-683-5387 by Nov. 26.
Meals are open to anyone in town who may need one including those who may have to work on Thanksgiving in Dublin, such as police, fire and EMS.
