MUSEUM MATTERS

The first indication of a hospital in Dublin appears to be Dr. O’Brien’s Sanitarium or Infirmary on Elm Street in downtown Dublin. We have several photographs of the building. One of the photographs was taken in 1907.

June 12 At 8:10 p.m. possible illegal cock fighting was reported on CR 349 or 340. June 13 At 10:12 a.m. a grass fire on CR 124 burned between five to 10 acres and took more than two hours to put out. At 2:03 p.m. the above grass fire rekindled and was battled for over eight hours. At 5:36 p.m.

June 6 A cat bite was reported at the by a patient at the family clinic on North Patrick Street. June 7 Reporting person left her house in the 100 block of North Park Street and noticed a male sitting in a blue vehicle at a vacant house.

Library hosting Barks and Books

Local children are invited to Barks and Books at the Dublin Public Library on Wednesday, June 29 at 2 p.m. featuring the story of Annie the Therapy Dog from Annie’s Therapeutic Companions.
